Your Role on our Team: The Project Coordinator will support our construction team by managing key operational tasks, including our Fleet Vehicle and Uniform Programs, coordinating construction schedules, and ensuring effective communication between staff and trade partners. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Fleet Vehicle Program Management:
    • Manage new and existing driver profiles.
    • Review and monitor gas consumption and maintenance requirements.
    • Handle branding and serve as the liaison with the fleet provider as needed.
  • Uniform Program Management:
    • Update uniform offerings as required.
    • Track and manage uniform orders.
    • Act as the main point of contact with the uniform provider as needed.
  • Construction Schedule Management:
    • Assist with the management and implementation of construction schedules for each lot.
    • Apply, update, and alter construction schedules in the system as required.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Coordinate and communicate necessary information and documents with Minto Staff and Trade Partners as required.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for the Construction team as needed.
    • Update and maintain construction information in our system, including closing dates, permits, packages, etc.
  • System Training and Support:
    • Provide training and assistance to system users as required.
    • Complete new hire setups, including access and hardware, and communicate requirements with the IT team.
  • Perform other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested.

 

We would like you to have:

  • Education:  A minimum of a College Diploma is required preferably in a Construction field (i.e. Architectural, Civil Engineering or Construction Management).
  • Experience: Construction experience is an asset though not mandatory
  • Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge with AutoCAD and Adobe
  • Organizational and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude, self-motivated, and willingness to learn
  • Strong interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and willingness to learn as asset
