What will you do?
Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. Of course, there will be more, but we can discuss those in person.
- With the guidance of the Property Manager, establish and maintain a professional working relationship with tenants by responding to all requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Respond to, monitor, and dispatch tenant requests to Site Supervisors as required.
- Co-ordinate and manage construction projects and update construction tracking schedules.
- Monitor Tenant insurance certificates database for compliance in accordance with the relevant terms of the Lease and follow up with tenants as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of tenant communication.
- Complete Move In/Move Out process, with Site Supervisor.
- Assist the Property Manager in the administration, tendering and management of service contracts.
- Assist as necessary in the coordination and administration of property initiatives, including sustainability and environmental initiatives, building maintenance and repairs programs, capital improvement projects, and leasehold improvements.
- Assist the Property Manager in the administration of building service contracts, including preparation of tender and standard service agreements as necessary.
- Maintain all necessary databases for portfolio, including tenants, contracts, service providers, and emergency contact information.
- Actively participate in the annual operating and corporate budgeting process; and
- Provide support and back up in the entering of purchase orders and reviewing open PO’s.
- With the guidance of the Property Manager, manage Operation and Capital projects.
What type of experience do you have?

- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in property management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in lease and contract interpretation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of buildings systems and terminology as it relates to industrial and flex buildings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel and Word.
- Experience in MRI and VTS Leasing Software would be an asset.
