Your Role on our Team:
The Market Research Analyst plays a pivotal role in the Investment team, conducting thorough research on market, demographic, and economic conditions within the multi-residential rental industry. This role involves collecting and analyzing data on competitors, rental rates, and product offerings to inform strategic decisions and drive growth.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive research on market rent, promotions, demographic, economic, and comparable product research.
- Provide information on overall market-related issues relevant to acquisitions and new developments.
- Report on all market research and competitor research data in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilized data analysis to produce revenue assumptions for investment underwriting, contributing to the evaluation of potential opportunities.
- Assist in preparing acquisitions and development opportunity summaries and investment recommendations.
- Monitor and report on industry trends, new developments, and acquisitions within our growth markets utilizing regional and national internal and external real estate, economic and financial data, and real estate broker information.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive collective success.
- Perform additional duties within the job's scope, spirit, and purpose as requested.
We would like you to have:
- A University Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field is required.
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant work experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, and Access.
- Exceptional communication skills, including listening, verbal, and written communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Initiative and a strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to travel and have access to a vehicle.
- Database programming knowledge, particularly in Python, would be an asset but not a requirement.
