What You’ll Do:           

• Preparation of monthly financial statements and
  associated schedules
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset continuity
  schedules, depreciation entries
• Ensure financial records are maintained in
  compliance with accepted policies and procures
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and
  irregularities
• Preparation of Cash flow forecasts and planning
• Prepare for financial audit and coordination of
  audit process
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and
  regulatory requirements
• Ensure all SAP transactions are booked in timely
  manner to correct GL accounts and ensure sufficient back up and
  documentation is attached;
• Responsible for coordination and posting of
  accruals ensuring appropriate justification and back up is obtained;
• Review GL balances and prepare continuity
  schedules as required;
• Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet
  reconciliations
• Preparation of government reporting and payments
  (HST) and coordinate filings/payments;
• Responding to Partner financial personnel on
  inquiries;
• Assist in development of policies and procedures
  relating to financial transactions and controls, expenses, etc.,
  contribute to process improvement where needed;
• Liase with stakeholders to provide financial
  support as required (Project Controls, Procurement, Client)
• Assist with client audit requirements
• Analyze complex data, prepare summaries, pivots,
  charts and graphs as required for a variety of requirements as processes
  develop and requirements are refined;
• Advance excel skills, data modelling and
  manipulation
• Prior SAP experience, preferably in a
  construction background.

What You’ll Bring to
the Team:  

• Bachelor’s
  degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• Accounting
  Designation CPA required
• 5 years
  accounting or cost control background in a similar role. Experience in the
  construction industry is a strong asset.
• Strong Experience with SAP and Business Objects.
• Accounting
  and analysis background
• Advanced proficiency in
  Excel
• Ability
  to work within stringent time constraints
