Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)

The SAP Lead Software Developer is responsible for supporting GTS within the GTS Canada instance. Support will be for all ABAP related work including support for Projects which may require ABAP development. This role is a hybrid role, based out of our office in North York

Key Responsibilities

• SAP technical development and support (ABAP)
• Resolve assigned SAP tickets within SLA
• Ensure GTS SAP change request process is followed, perform CR work as it is prioritized and assigned via the standard GTS CR process.
• Contribute to projects such that they are completed promptly and successfully
• Contribute to training catalogue, strategy and sessions as per management time allowance
• Document and deliver the final technical specifications document for each modification/interface/extract to the appropriate Project PMO and/or IS Technical Manager.
• Additional efforts for other initiatives may be called for, however the priority is above.
• Project management as needed
• Attendance of SAP team status and CR update meetings
• Daily quick standup meetings
• Weekly Status meetings
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• SAP ABAP Certification, or equivalent field experience
• +7 years ABAP experience
• Conversions and Interfaces in BDC
• Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW)
• ALE/IDOC
• ABAP List Viewer (ALV)
• USER EXITS& Smart Forms & Adobe Forms
• Time management
• Lead the projects
• Project planning
• Fluent in English
  
  

Preferred Skills And Experience

• SAP Workflow- Experience with upgrading of SAP environments
• Working knowledge of BRF+
