Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Software Analyst Intern to join our team in Toronto!

The Software Analyst Intern will work within the IS Product development team, responsibilities will include development, analysis, automation and testing against the CBTC requirements in Hitachi Rail Canada.

Key Accountabilities

• Behavioral - Positive 'can do' attitude - Customer delivery focused with excellent communication skills
• Develop software components and testing for the features allocated in the system
• Develop supporting scripts that will enhance/automate current engineering infrastructure and applications
  
  

Key Requirements:

• Must have completed a minimum of 2 academic years into an IT program (Bachelor’s degree / Master’s) in computer application engineering or related subjects in Electronics and Computer software.
• C++ coding exposure and AUTOSR MISRA C++ standards, OOPS concepts
• Scripting (Python), automation
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently in 3rd or 4th year into an IT program (Bachelor’s degree / Master’s) in computer application engineering or related subjects in Electronics and Computer software.
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience with GIT/ BitBucket
• Experience with Artifactory
• Experience with Jenkins / Continuous Integration
• Experience with Virtualisation (VMware, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
