Looking for a new and exciting job opportunity? We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team!


What You Will Do

As the Project Coordinator, you will provide coordination on project activities through the project lifecycle, from initial planning to completion; and provide support to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.


You will also define, monitor and review across all project phases, including: project initiation, planning, execution, control, close out activities; act as a key point of contact. Liaise and coordinate with the project team, TTC staff and external stakeholders as required to collaborate and exchange information; participate in the development and implementation of business cases, project charter, project management plans and processes, risk and assumptions logs, budget objectives and workforce requirements; provides project and program Interface management support based on input from stakeholders and project team; and provide project control support, as well as cost analysis and cost reconciliations for assigned projects.


Moreover, you will perform a variety of cost / budget studies and research assignments, requiring analysis and interpretation of data; monitor progress and performance against established terms of reference and work plans. Prepare variance reports and explanations for management, identifying potential problem areas and recommend corrective action as required; prepare, coordinate and review contracts, work plans, reports and documents; obtain sign-offs as required; track and monitor outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution. What Qualifications Do You Bring?

  • Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline (engineering or architecture) or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in the areas of Project and Engineering management of large, complex and multi-disciplined projects would be an asset.
  • Project Management Office experience would be an asset.
  • PMP certification would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and provide support to multi-disciplined teams consisting of Project Managers, Senior Project Engineers, Designers and Consultants.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current engineering principles and practices combined with a comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and practices, including conceptual planning and all phases of design.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current Project Management Standards.
  • Familiarity with project management information systems and reporting as it relates to control of scope, scheduling and cost.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques and practices, contract administration, construction inspection, and knowledge of pertinent Acts and Regulations (Construction Lien Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, etc).
