Project Outreach Lead

As a non-profit organization dedicated to creating economic impact, Dream Legacy Foundation continually seeks to enhance its resources, programs, and services to empower the Black community further. To aid in these efforts, we are seeking a dynamic Project Outreach Lead who will play a pivotal role in expanding our outreach initiatives and fostering meaningful connections within the community.

Main Purpose of the Job:

The Project Outreach Lead will work closely with the management team, driving our outreach efforts to new heights. We are seeking a proactive and outgoing individual with a passion for community engagement and a track record of success. In this role, you will utilize your networking skills, event coordination expertise, and service-oriented mindset to cultivate relationships, organize outreach activities, and amplify our impact within Black communities across Ontario.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Lead the development and execution of outreach strategies to engage Black communities and stakeholders effectively.

● Maintain a comprehensive calendar of program activities, community events, workshops, and appearances.

● Cultivate and nurture relationships with collaborative partners and local businesses to support our initiatives.

● Drive lead-generation efforts through outreach initiatives, including phone calls and virtual meetings, to promote program participation.

● Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach projects with overall marketing strategies and organizational goals.

● Oversee marketing and communications efforts, ensuring brand consistency and maximizing outreach impact.

● Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of events, workshops, and consultations, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

● Track and evaluate outreach metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

Provide quarterly reports and feedback to inform strategic decision-making and program planning.

● Contribute to the development of communications, marketing materials, and online content to promote program awareness.

● Represent Dream Legacy Foundation professionally during community events, meetings, and interactions.

● Perform other duties as needed and assigned to support the organization's outreach

objectives.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, business, or a related field.

● Prior experience in program outreach, marketing, or a related role is preferred.

● Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling

messages for diverse audiences.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, CRM software, and social media management tools.

● Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with design tools for creating promotional materials.

● Knowledge of email marketing platforms and web conferencing tools for virtual events.

● Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

● Adaptability to changing priorities and dynamic work environments.

● Genuine interest in community engagement and promoting programs to diverse audiences.

Working Conditions:

● Full-time, permanent position with flexible hours and occasional travel across Ontario.

● Hybrid remote work model with office presence required in Mississauga, ON.

● Some weeks may require full-time office attendance based on project needs.

● A vehicle is required for traveling to and from events and transporting equipment

● Some evenings and weekends are required for events

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement: French not required

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L4V 1N8
