ONxpress Operations Inc. (OOI) is shaping the future of transit in the Greater Golden Horseshoe area. With a long-term partnership with Metrolinx, OOI will oversee the operations and maintenance of the GO Transit rail network and Union Pearson Express, as part of the groundbreaking GO Expansion program. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI and SAP Business Objects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and reporting solutions.
• Create and optimize data models, reports, and dashboards to meet business needs.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
• Provide support and training to end-users on using Power BI and SAP Business Objects tools effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and advancements in business intelligence technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of BI solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
  
  

Education

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence development with a strong focus on Power BI and SAP Business Objects.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Business Objects, including Web Intelligence, Universe Design, and Crystal Reports.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Certification in Power BI or SAP Business Objects is a plus.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or Microsoft SSRS.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
