Description

What You’ll Do:           

• Work
  closely with the Finance and Project Controls teams to collect, track and
  report various financial and cost data
• Register
  and launch workflows for approval in company document management system
  (Aconex), follow up on approvals and resolve items returned for
  correction.
• Review
  of vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, interacting with vendors
  for any required changes, ensuring appropriate approvals are in place,
  tracking/logging of incoming invoices under the direction of the Accounts
  Payable Manager
• Uploading
  of invoices to Sharepoint for AP processing
• Extract
  and analyze a variety of accounting/financial data from diverse sources
  and prepare reports using advanced functions such as Pivot Tables,
  Vlookups, indexing, etc.
• Enter
  journal entries into accounting system and ensure appropriate
  documentation is attached and submit for approvals
• Assist
  with receipt of goods transactions in SAP
• Assist
  with reconciliation of good receipt/invoice receipt accounts
• Assist
  with monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations

What You’ll Bring to
the Team:  

• Bachelor’s
  degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• Accounting
  Designation CPA or working towards it is considered an asset but not
  required
• 1-3 years
  accounting or cost control background in a similar role. Experience in the
  construction industry is a strong asset.
• Experience with SAP and Business Objects is
  valued.
• Accounting
  and analysis background
• Advanced proficiency in
  Excel
• Ability
  to work within stringent time constraints
