Mosaic Transit Constructor (Mosaic)- 

a consortium comprised of Aecon, Dragados, and Dufferin- is
partnering with Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario to design, build and maintain the transformative
Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) system in the City of Toronto.

 Position:

 LRV Operator 

Reports to: Operations and Maintenance Manager

 Role Location: Toronto, ON 

Summary of Position:
- Reporting to the Operations and Maintenance Manger, the LRV Operator will operate the LRV
along completed section of track – in both manual and CBTC guided modes. This operation can
range from burn in running to performing various test scenarios.

 Responsibilities 

• Input into Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) 

• Input into determining ride quality, discovery of issues (track or LRV related) and feedback to
necessary maintenance personnel

 • As senior LRV operator some on-the-job training of more junior operators may be necessary
including review and enforcement of various Safety and Operations protocols 

Requirements :

• 10+ years in a comparable position, operating streetcars or LRV along a semi-exclusive guideway 

• Full familiarity with various Standard Operating Procedures including understanding of why
various constraints and restrictions are applied 

• Knowledge and physical ability to manually operate a rail switch
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

 • Understanding of CBTC in its operation of LRV would be a strong asset
